Lincomysin in Respiratory Tract Infections

Abstract

|
Lincomycin appears to be an effective therapeutic agent against the common pathogens especially gram positive organisms such as Staphylococci, Streptococci and Pneumococci.
Lincomycin was discovered during a systemic search and examination of soil samples from the United States and certain foreign lands. Lincomycin hydrochloride is a low molecular weight antibiotics derived from streptomyces lincolnesis and is chemically distinct from other antibiotics.
This reports evaluate the efficacy of lincomycin therapy in 25 patients with acute or chr-ouic respiratory infections.
